My Birthday

For my birthday on the 22nd Nathan not only made a fantastic breakfast but also a very gourmet dinner. It was so tasty. He had also bought me a few gifts and flowers. He even made the cake which was peanut butter and chocolate- heaven on earth! I simply have the best and most thoughtful husband ever! It really was my golden birthday with him!

Our Apartment

We've finally gotten mostly settled into our apartment. Living on the third floor has been a good workout when hauling all of our things. It's so fun having our own apartment. I've had way too much fun decorating, arranging, and sceming up future interior design ideas. Nathan is now teaching seminary in Shelly and loving it. He has two classes and it keeps him pretty busy. The people he works with there are such great people and teachers who he looks up to. He has learned a lot from them already and is looking forward to this semester with them.

Elk Creek Ranch

During the summer Nathan was a chef and manager in Island Part at a Ranch called Elk Creek. Right after we were married we returned there and a little trailer was our first home! It was cozy to say the least but the ranch was beautiful and a fun place to live. Nathan cooked gourmet meals for guests every day and I stayed busy helping him. Occasionally we would have to chase away a raccoon or cow from the property but that's what made it... spontaneous. There was a beautiful lake just outside the kitchen window with otters, geese, fish, and pelicans in it and horses and cows just on the others side feeding in the meadow. Needless to say I learned to like to do dishes with that kind of view. We then closed the ranch down and headed out the last week of August.

We're Married!

I'm just a few months late posting this, but July 23, 2008 I married the most handsom man in the Rexburg Temple. It was so neat and everything was so beautiful. The biggest thanks to our parents who put so much work into making every detail perfect. We had a reception that night in Blackfoot and then an open house the following weekend in Ohio. We spent a few days in Jackson Hole and Yellowstone National Park. It was fun and relaxing and the scenery was beautiful.
